Sports center

Resort Pedras da Rainha

For our active guests the park has a sports centre with 5 tennis courts, 2 paddle-tennis courts, 1 lawn-bowl field, 1 beach-volley court, all under professional guidance.

Cabanas de Tavira is a very pleasant village with a pedestrian boulevard, many terraces and shops. Loved by many to spend the winter, by golfers because of the different golf courses in the area and by hikers and cyclists due to the many trails along quiet paths and roads. Hiring a road bike or mountain bike plus additional equipment is possible at very favourable prices; also info on walking trails and cycling tours is available, all with professional advice.

At the entrance of the resort, there is a bus stop to Tavira and at a very short walking distance there is the train station (Faro – Vila Real St Antonio).

Algarve

The most important holidays destination of Portugal is the Algarve, due to the richness of its historical heritage, delightfully gastronomy full of mediterranean flavours, beauty of the moutains, its many parks and nature reserves suitable for birdwatching (some of these birds are indigenous of the Iberian Peninsula), and its beautiful coast with beaches bathed by the clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
